About Us

We are passionate about animals and helping others, most often through supporting rescue organizations. When Tara saw the opportunity to run a horse business out of her home she leapt at the chance. This is a dream come true, having grown up here it really has been a dream converting the barn to customize experiences. Our main interest is in making horses fun and accessible to kids and adults alike. We believe in the benefits of all around horsemanship, it isn't just about riding with us.  The lessons we learn from having horses in our lives are plentiful and priceless, besides, horsemanship is a fun way to stay (or get) in shape!

Begin or continue your horsemanship journey, we recognize the special challenges faced when learning as an adult and look forward to celebrating your successes. Bring your horse or be matched with one of ours. All new riders are evaluated individually at the initial lesson.

Community

Our History

The original barn on this road, our little piece of Arvada, was built in 1973 as an 8 stall barn. This was expanded to a 50+ boarding stable in the late 1970's, known as Big G Stables the legacy of horses, teaching, trail and community stewardship began.
