A Riding Center offers the Pony Club curriculum and program. Through the availability of lesson horses the Riding Center increases access by providing an avenue to Pony Club for those that aren't ready to lease or own a horse. At Leg Up Pony Club members attend monthly meetings in addition to their weekly riding lessons. Meetings combine mounted and unmounted education (and fun!) in a group setting. Attendance at monthly meetings entitles members to a $10.00/hour discount in the lesson program.
Pony Club members will also have opportunities to attend clinics, events and volunteer work days.
Clinics include trailering, Pony Club Badge Program, trail rides and more!
Events include competing in gymkhana, Open Horse Shows, CHJA shows, Colorado Obstacle Challenge and other industry shows, competitions and events.
Volunteer work days provide the opportunity for members to come to the barn and learn horsemanship in a working environment. We cover everyday life in the barn; turnout, mucking, tack care, weather change considerations, composting, arena maintenance, barn maintenance, and any unplanned 'stuff' that comes up!
Visit Acuity to see packages (monthly/bimonthly purchase) and subscriptions (auto charge).
How do I get started?
If the student has not previously had a lesson with me, sign up for an Evaluation Lesson as lesson horse availability permits.
If we've previously worked together send Tara, the Center Administrator, an email (LegUpEquine@Duck.com) or text (720-545-3013) for an invitation to join to be emailed to you. If space is available Tara will send you the invitation to join PC National.
When does Leg Up PC meet?
Students that are currently on the lesson schedule have mounted meetings the third Sunday* of each month. *subject to change
Students that are current PC members, but not in regular lessons have unmounted meetings the third Saturday* of each month *subject to change
Badge program capstones may warrant field trips that may double as meetings.

As pictured above PC members can complete workbooks to earn badges and collect them on their own saddle pad to display while riding!
